Head Coach Robert Gervais will enter his fourth season at Johnson State after leading the softball program to consecutive North Atlantic Conference (NAC) playoff appearances in 2009 and 2010.   

Coach Gervais has had an immediate impact on the program leading JSC to consecutive NAC playoff appearances for the first time since joining the NCAA in 2001.  He has compiled a record of 27-52 in his three seasons.

Coach Gervais, a 1993 graduate of Johnson State College where he was a standout catcher for two seasons for the Badger baseball team, is currently the Technology Coordinator for Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union.  Coach Gervais has 20 years of various high school coaching experience and 15 years of teaching and administration from the kindergarten through senior high school levels.

Most recently Coach Gervais, who earned his Masters Degree from South Dakota State University in 2005 in Educational Technology, has served as the Assistant Softball Coach at Enosburg High School since 1999 and has helped the program to three Vermont Division III State Championships.

Coach Gervais introduced the Badgers Summer Softball Camp in 2011 and will look to grow the overnight offering in 2012.
