Bill Boldwin enters his third year as the head coach for the Johnson State College men's golf program. Boldwin joined the JSC men's golf team in 2011 as the Assistant Coach to Head Coach Lou Jarvis. Coach Jarvis, voted 2011 NAC Coach of the Year by his peers, passed away on September 30th thrusting Coach Boldwin into the interim Head Coach's role. Boldwin not only served as the backbone for the program in a tough time but also led the team to a sixth place finish in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships in October during the 2013-2014 season. Boldwin lead the team to a 7th place finish in the North Atlantic Conference Championships this past season.
Prior to Johnson, Boldwin accumulated years of golf instruction experience as well as numerous seasons of coaching experiences in a variety of sports at several different levels.
Boldwin, a retired self-employed electrical contractor, now works at Catamount Golf Club in Williston as an instructor and Pro Shop Manager as well assisting with leagues and tournaments at Essex Country Club in Essex. Coach Boldwin is also a veteran of the United States Navy.
