The Johnson State College softball team concluded its playoff run in North Atlantic Conference play at Husson University with a 6-2 loss in the second round playoff game to in-state foe Lyndon State College, Friday afternoon.

Johnson Stumbles in Round One of Playoffs
Top-seeded Husson University softball earned the right to host the 2014 NAC Softball Championships from Friday, May 2 to Sunday, May 4. The tournament was set in a six team double elimination format, and Husson kicked off the day with a 10 AM game on Friday against the sixth seeded Johnson State Badgers.

Husson Takes Two From Johnson
The Johnson State College Softball team hosted the Husson University Eagles in their final regular season game on the season on April 29th at Minaert Fields. The Eagles swept the Badgers taking the first game, which was halted due to weather on April 13th, 23-0 and the second game 17-1.

Beavers sweep Johnson State to close NAC slate with 10 conference wins
The University of Maine at Farmington softball team reached the 10-win mark in North Atlantic Conference play for the first time since 2009 with a “Senior Day” doubleheader sweep of Johnson State College, 8-0 and 9-1, Sunday afternoon at Prescott Field.

Thomas College was able to grab two conference victories against Johnson State College today on senior day. Thomas took the first game 9-1, while taking the second game 3-1.

The Badgers ended their season today falling 7-6 to Green Mountain in overtime. Green Mountain gained its first win on the year improving to 1-12. Johnson State finishes the year 0-11 overall and 0-8 in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC).

The Spartans finished their regular season schedule by beating Johnson St. 19-1. Castleton earns the perfect regular season mark for the second straight season, earning the top seed and the right to host in the upcoming NAC tournament. Johnson State slides to 0-10 on the year and 0-7 in the NAC.

The Johnson state softball team dropped a pair of NAC conference games (5-1, 13-6) against Castleton State on Saturday at Johnson State College. Johnson State drops to 6-15 on the season and 5-4 in the NAC while Castleton now stands at 9-13 on the year.

Brandon Corbo and Brandon Bosse each netted three goals to power Husson to a 14-2 win over Johnson State in a North Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse game Saturday. The Eagles improved to 4-7, 4-4 NAC, while the Badgers dropped to 0-9, 0-7 in the NAC.

The Johnson State men's lacrosse team fell to visiting Lyndon State 10-6 on Friday afternoon on the campus of Johnson State College. With the win, Lyndon advances to 2-12 on the year and 2-5 om North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play. The Badgers slide to 0-8 on the year and 0-5 in the NAC.

Tennis team defeated host Johnson State College 6-3 this afternoon in NAC tennis action. With the win, the Trailblazers improve to 3-4 on the season and earn their first NAC win of the season. The Badgers fall to 1-8 overall and are still in search of their first conference win.
